The shortname in the opensearch_desc.php xml-file is "jQuery JavaScript Librar". First, this is ugly (Librar is not a word). And as far as I know, shortname is not limited to 24 ...

For now the additional fix came just from excluding the rewrite of opensearch_desc.php, by adding to .htaccess the following code- RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/opensearch_desc.php
